Your own copy,
running in ~30 minutes.

Self-host the whole thing — code, Alfred, the dashboard. You bring free accounts (Supabase, Notion, OpenAI, Resend) and your own keys. Nothing phones home; your data is yours.

Optional — drop your email for a build walkthrough, new releases, and what's coming in v2. The code's free above either way.

01

Get the code

Click "Use this template" — GitHub creates your own private copy of the OS. No fork, no clone; it's yours.

02

Create a database

Spin up a free Supabase project, then paste one file — supabase/setup.sql — into the SQL editor and run it. It creates every table in a single go. Two minutes.

Open Supabase
03

Duplicate the Notion workspace

One click copies the whole Spicer OS Notion page — every database, formula, and relation intact — into your workspace. Then grab each DB's ID for the next step.

04

Configure

Run `npm run init` — it asks for your details + API keys (Supabase, Notion, OpenAI, Resend) and auto-generates every secret. Writes your .env.local.

npm install
npm run init
05

Deploy

One click to Vercel. Paste the same env vars, and the two cron jobs are already configured. Or run locally with npm run dev first.

06

First login

Log in with the email you set during setup (OWNER_EMAIL) — only you can get in. An in-app wizard then walks you through PIN, 2FA, a passkey, and customizing your AI — and lets you pick how much OS you want to start with: Pilot (the essentials), Operator (your whole life on it), or Commander (the full ship). You can climb levels anytime. Done.

07

Turn on Autonomous Alfred (optional)

Alfred can run on its own during the daily passes — reorganizing your day, noting patterns, and drafting content from what you build. Flip it on in Settings. Every action is tier-gated (green runs free, anything outbound waits for your one-tap approval), fully logged, and reversible in Alfred's cockpit. It can never move money.

08

Wake the trading bot (optional)

A robot trader that works real markets around the clock — with fake money, so it costs nothing to find out if it's any good. It checks each market's weather before trading (its strategies only fire in conditions they're built for), reads the morning headlines to set the day's caution level, follows strict risk rules it can't break, and studies its own trades every night — keeping a permanent lesson book you can read. No broker account needed: a built-in simulator trades live public prices with real exchange fees charged, so results can't flatter themselves. The Trading page walks you through setup (just a ~$5/mo worker); real money physically can't switch on until weeks of proven results go green and you type a confirmation. It lives behind the same vault as your finances.
